Common Questions

What Families Ask Us

What ages do you accept for classes?

We welcome students starting at 3.5 years old through adults, with no upper age limit. Little Ninjas (ages 3.5–7) leads into Beginning and Intermediate Kids classes, Teen classes, and full Adult programs including Hapkido and Weapons Training.

Is the first class really free?

Yes. Your first class is completely free, with no pressure and no commitment. It’s a real class taught by Master Morrissette, not a sales pitch.

Do you accept ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account) funds?

Yes, we accept Arizona ESA funds for tuition. Let us know when you book your trial or fill out our contact form, and we’ll walk you through applying your ESA toward your child’s training.

What martial arts do you teach?

Traditional Taekwondo and Hapkido, plus dedicated Weapons Training for qualifying students. Master Erik Morrissette holds a 7th Degree Black Belt with over 50 years of martial arts experience.

Do I need experience or equipment to start?

No. Every student starts as a white belt, regardless of age or background. We provide what you need for your first class — as you progress, we’ll guide you on getting your own uniform and gear.

What areas do you serve?

We’re located in Litchfield Park, AZ, and serve families throughout the West Valley, including Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, and Surprise.

How is Little Ninjas different from your other kids’ classes?

Little Ninjas (ages 3.5–7) builds foundational skills — listening, balance, coordination, following instructions — in a format made for younger attention spans. Our Beginning and Intermediate Kids classes build on that with structured Taekwondo curriculum as students get older.

Who teaches the classes?

Master Erik Morrissette, a 7th Degree Black Belt with 50+ years of martial arts experience, leads the school as head instructor.
